Jesus Is With You

Jesus Is With You

Jesus’ ministry reveals His authority over darkness, sickness, and death, demonstrating His power to restore those who come to Him in faith. In the region of the Gadarenes, a demon-possessed man lived in isolation and torment. Jesus delivered him completely, restoring his mind and dignity. While the townspeople feared what had happened and asked Jesus to leave, the restored man desired to follow Him. Instead, Jesus sent him home to share all that God had done for him, turning his transformation into a testimony.

Back in Capernaum, Jairus, a synagogue leader, pleaded with Jesus to save his dying daughter. Along the way, a woman who had suffered from bleeding for twelve years reached out in faith and touched Jesus’ garment. Immediately healed, she was publicly acknowledged by Jesus, who restored not only her health but also her dignity and peace. Her encounter reminds us that even a small amount of faith can reach out to a Saviour who cares for us personally.

When news arrived that Jairus’ daughter had died, Jesus urged him not to fear but to believe. Despite the crowd’s ridicule, Jesus entered the house, took the girl by the hand, and commanded her to rise. She immediately returned to life, revealing His authority even over death.

These encounters remind us that Jesus is always present with us, even in our darkest struggles. Our battle is not against flesh and blood but is spiritual, and our faith grows as we know Christ through His Word, prayer, and His work in our lives. Though we may not always understand why healing does not come, we can trust His sovereignty and love. Jesus meets us in our brokenness, transforms us by His grace, and calls us to make room for Him in our lives. He is with us, walks with us, and remains our hope and salvation.
