A religi\u00e3o romana envolve polite\u00edsmo e adora\u00e7\u00e3o ao imperador. Mas Corn\u00e9lio rejeitou a religi\u00e3o romana e seguiu o \u00fanico e verdadeiro Deus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Deus enviou um anjo para dizer a Corn\u00e9lio que as suas ora\u00e7\u00f5es e a sua caridade tinham subido at\u00e9 Deus para um memorial.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Deus v\u00ea tudo o que pensas e fazes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
O anjo disse a Corn\u00e9lio que mandasse chamar Pedro.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Enquanto os homens de Corn\u00e9lio se dirigiam a Pedro, Deus deu-lhe uma vis\u00e3o.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Do c\u00e9u desceu um len\u00e7ol cheio de animais impuros, e uma voz disse-lhe para matar e comer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Pedro recusou, dizendo que nunca tinha comido nada impuro.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
A voz respondeu-lhe, dizendo-lhe que n\u00e3o chamasse impuro a nada que Deus tivesse purificado.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
At\u00e9 agora, o Evangelho tinha sido pregado apenas aos judeus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Atualmente, n\u00e3o h\u00e1 distin\u00e7\u00e3o entre judeus e gentios.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Nesse preciso momento, enquanto Pedro se interrogava sobre a vis\u00e3o, chegaram os homens de Corn\u00e9lio.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Pedro segue a orienta\u00e7\u00e3o do Esp\u00edrito Santo e recebe os visitantes gentios, entret\u00e9m-nos e d\u00e1-lhes alojamento.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
